Looney Tunes Super Stars - Foghorn Leghorn & Friends [2010] Looney Tunes Super Stars: Foghorn Leghorn & Friends contains some favorites and some overlooked delights from the Looney Tunes gang, but Foghorn Leghorn isn't in all of them. Still, there is a lot of hilarious greats that still bring in a lot of fun and a classic laughter that hasn't been heard in awhile. Still there are a few of Foghorn's classics like Weasel While You Work, the classic Little Boy Boo, where he squares off and tries to prove he can be a good role model to Egghead Jr., yet it falls apart in the process, and Banty Raids where a "hen-pecked" rooster whose in to 60's music, tries to fool Foghorn to get into the farm, by pretending he is a baby, to get his hands on female chickadees. While those are great to watch all over again, there are a few cartoons where Foghorn never really was featured in, that are on this DVD as well including Crows' Feet, where a couple of Mexican crows fly south of the border, but take a pit stop in a corn field where a trigger happy Elmer Fudd is there to gun in for the kill, and the Goofy Gophers (another cult favorite) in Gopher Broke, where they try and take back their vegetables from a sleep-happy dog. 7. Looney Tunes Super Stars - Tweety and Sylvester [2010] Voice of Mel Blanc. The bright yellow canary is alive and well in this remastered cartoon gem/s as he is chased relentlessly by the ever-scheming, infamous black cat, Sylvester. The two popular characters in the LT lineup give it their all for a blast from the past" afternoon delight. Animated. 1947-57 8. Looney Tunes Super Stars - Pepe Le Pew [2011] A new compilation featuring 17 iconic shorts of the loveable French Skunk, Pepe Le Pew! Pepe is always strolling around Paris in the springtime, where everyone's thoughts are of "love." While he is constantly seeking "l'amour" of his own, his huge turnoff to any prospective mate is his malodorous scent. Together for the first time are some of Pepe's most beloved and comical shorts. 9. Looney Tunes Super Stars - Porky and Friends [2012] He may be short pink and pants-less but when it comes to animated superstardom Porky Pig proves: the sty's the limit! Now remastered to pristine make-your- eyeballs-bug-out condition these 18 landmark Looney Toons spotlight Porky and pals in a plentitude of porcine cartoon perfection including Pilgrim Porkys half-baked attempt to put duck on his Thanksgiving menu (Tom Turk and Daffy) followed by Porky as a wildly wacky wagon train scout (Wagon Heels). Then there's Porky's ham-handed scheme to thwart a ravenous rodent with a robot cat (Mouse Menace) and our piggy protagonist as a clueless cop trying to evict vagrant Daffy from his department store digs (Riff Raffy Daffy). And th-th-th that's NOT all folks! There's further fun afoot with Porky Elmer Fudd Bunny and Claude and more in these swine-sational classics from animation's Golden Age! 10. Looney Tunes Super Stars - Sylvester & Hippety [2013] From the moment they teamed up, the endlessly-persistent Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr. and the hyperactive young kangaroo Hippety Hopper would go on to became one of Warner Bros. most reliably hilarious animated duos. Now, together for the first time on DVD, it's the best of the failure-prone feline and spring-loaded little marsupial in 18 classic cartoons re-mastered to all their Golden-Age-of-Animation glory! Featuring 17 shorts never-before-seen on DVD, these timeless cat vs "giant mouse" gems include Sylvester's riotous pursuit of Hippety after the 'roo escapes the zoo in Hop, Look and Listen, Sylvester's hapless attempts to impress his son Sylvester, Jr. in Pop 'Im Pop! and the acclaimed Hoppy-Go-Lucky, a brilliant send-up of John Steinbeck's classic Of Mice and Men. And that's just the beginning of the bounding, bouncing, cat-confounding fun in this cartoon cornucopia from the heyday of Warner Bros. animation! 11. Looney Tunes Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas [2006] In the beginning of the movie, Bugs Bunny (in a Fred-like role) pops up out of his hole to clear away the snow, and explains to the viewers he's all about winter holidays, despite the fact that rabbits are traditionally associated with Easter. He's then almost run over by Daffy Duck's gas guzzling Hummer. Daffy's the Scrooge-like owner of the Lucky Duck Superstore (a Costco-esque megastore), and he treats his employees (played by other Looney Tunes) like they're garbage. Despite Bugs' scolding him for berating Playboy Penguin, Daffy still acts snobbish and tries to abscond with the money Priscilla Pig, Egghead Jr., Henery Hawk and Barnyard Dawg Jr. are collecting for charity. Daffy especially has trouble with his hover scooter, and gets beat up by his own employees (through no fault of their own) and the customers (since he insulted them). After Daffy states he hates the holidays, Bugs warns him about the Ghosts of Christmas, which Daffy simply scoffs at. 12.
